Zurn Kicks off the 2018 Water Leaders Summit with Water Technology District Tour

MILWAUKEE, WI – Zurn Water, LLC will help commence the Water Council’s eleventh annual Water Leaders Summit on June 27 as part of the Water Technology District tour. The complimentary walking tour takes attendees from the Global Water Center to the Reed Street Yards Water Tech Business Park, before concluding with Zurn’s Customer Experience Center, located directly next door from the Harley Davidson Museum®.

We’re reminded of our company mission every day we walk or drive down Freshwater Way. It’s a privilege to be the last stop on the tour and we’re thankful the Water Council considered us within its list of influencers.”  

Designed by Eppstein Uhen Architects (EUA) and constructed by C.D. Smith Construction, Inc., the Zurn headquarters has achieved LEED® Gold certification from the United States Green Building Council (USGBC). The manufacturer’s advanced water solutions are installed throughout the facility, contributing to its 45-percent reduction in water usage compared to a standard code-compliant building. In 2017, the building received the 20^th Annual Mayor’s Design Award for design excellence.

The two-day Water Leader Summit will be held at The Garage within the Harley-Davidson Museum campus. Every year, this event attracts industry experts and decision makers from around the world, spanning education, private and government agencies. The Water Council hosts the summit to discuss critical issues and introduce the latest wave of water technologies and infrastructure developments.

This year’s theme for the summit is Global Industries Revving up Water Tech Demand. Hot topics will cover water innovations, community impact, water tech demand, and water conservation.
