What is the difference between the Z886 and the Z806

  •      Both the Z886 and Z806 are pre-engineered modular channel sections with .75% built-in slope and radiused bottom.  Both are durable and lightweight with a variety of grate options including the choice of class A, B, C, E, and F grates with H-20 and/or FAA load ratings and/or ADA compliance with mechanical lockdown devices.  End caps and catch basins are available to complement the channels and grates.  End outlets, bottom outlets, and side outlets are available in 2", 3", 4", and 6" diameters.      The Z886 is a 6-1/4" wide, High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) drainage system with a 4" throat.  The Z886 channels have 0% water absorption and clips molded into the sides of the channel to accommodate vertical rebar for positioning and anchoring purposes.      The Z806 is a 6" wide, Fiber Reinforced Polyester (FRP) drainage system with a 4" throat and heavy-duty steel frame with tie strapping every 20" for easy placement and leveling of system.  It is also available in Vinylester.   Application specific factors such as temperature and chemical requirements may require one system or the other.

What is the maximum temperature water the Z806 system can handle?

  • The Z806 system can handle water temperatures up to 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
